For best results, choose JSON format and export your Connections information. To unlock the newer dashboard sections, you can also include Apps and websites off Instagram and Ads information.
After you submit the request, Instagram will prepare your data and email you when the file is ready to download. A smaller export usually works better in the browser. If you only need the classic follow-back dashboard, Connections is enough. If you want the newer data footprint sections, include Apps and websites off Instagram and Ads information as well.

Important note about deactivated accounts: Instagram exports may include deleted, disabled, or deactivated accounts. If a username appears in your results but the profile link does not load, the account may no longer be active even though Instagram still included it in your downloaded data.
