How it works

The process is simple: request your data from Facebook, download the ZIP file, upload it here, and review your dashboard.

Request your data

Go to Facebook or Accounts Center and request a copy of your Facebook information.

Download the ZIP

When Facebook finishes preparing your export, download the ZIP file to your device.

Upload it here

Choose the ZIP file in the Upload ZIP tab. You do not need to unzip it first.

View your dashboard

The dashboard is created locally in your browser with searchable lists and downloads.

How to download your Facebook data

For best results, export your Facebook data in JSON format and include the sections listed below. You do not need to include photos, videos, messages, posts, comments, reactions, or groups for this version of the dashboard.

Open Facebook.
Go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
Open Accounts Center.
Go to Your information and permissions.
Select Export your information.
Choose Create export.
Select your Facebook profile/account.
Choose Export to device.
Choose Customize information or the option to select specific information.
Select the recommended sections below.
Set Date range to All time for the most complete dashboard.
Set Format to JSON.
Set Media quality to Low, or exclude media if Facebook gives that option.
Click Start export.
When Facebook says the file is ready, download the ZIP file to your device.

Recommended sections to include

These sections give the dashboard the best chance of finding useful data:

Connections Friends, removed friends, sent/received requests, rejected requests, followers, and following.

Ads Information Advertisers, ad preferences, apps detected from activity, and targeting categories.

Apps and Websites off Facebook Connected apps/websites, permissions, app posts, and off-Meta activity sources.

Preferences Privacy settings, notification settings, language settings, reels preferences, and watch settings.

Your Facebook Activity Pages, events, marketplace searches, and other activity files that Facebook includes.

Recommended export setup: JSON format, All time date range, Low media quality, Export to device, and the sections listed above.

If Facebook’s menu labels are slightly different, choose the closest matching options. The important part is that you download a ZIP file in JSON format with the recommended sections included.

Privacy note

Your Facebook data can be sensitive, so this tool is designed to process your ZIP file locally in your browser.

Your file is not uploaded to our server. Your results are not saved. When you leave or refresh the page, the dashboard disappears.

This dashboard also ignores photos, videos, and other media files so the tool stays faster and lighter.

Important note about Facebook exports: Facebook exports can vary depending on your account, export format, selected date range, and selected categories. Some dashboard sections may show zero records if Facebook did not include that information in your export.
